Innovative Educational Structure
Our program is structured around four core components to provide a holistic educational experience:
- Thrombo-Newbie: Ensure a solid foundation in cell and platelet biology and key methodologies at the start of each cohort by interactive lectures, short learning assessments, lab visits/lab rotations and a Science Rallye to explore the campus.
- Thrombo-Discourse: Engage in a vibrant scientific community with weekly lab-seminars, journal clubs, mini-symposia, and international guest lectures that promote deep scientific discussions and continuous learning.
- Thrombo-Lab: Gain hands-on experience in state-of-the-art techniques through RTG- specific methods courses on topics such as high-end imaging and single-cell sequencing. Our "Teaching-by-Peers" workshops and in-house lab rotations further enhance your practical skills and collaborative spirit.
- Thrombo-Go: Develop essential soft skills and key qualifications through workshops on topics like Statistics & Data Management, Patent Law, and unique clinical internships. These are designed to prepare you for both academic and industry careers.
