PhD student positions

The Würzburg Platelet Group is constantly looking for new members to advance our research. Currently, we have 3 Postdoctoral and 3 Graduate student positions (f/m/d – paid according to TV-L) to investigate thrombo-inflammation in various disease settings. We therefore encourage excellent applicants to submit applications via email to career@platelets.eu.

If capacities are available, Bachelor and Master theses as well as internships can be offered (please request via career@platelets.eu).
We are situated within the Rudolf Virchow Center , an inter-disciplinary research center of the University of Würzburg which is part of the Medical Campus of University Hospital Würzburg . We offer a modern and international working environment with state-of-the-art infrastructure.
All doctoral candidates are supervised by the University of Würzburg’s “Graduate School of Life Sciences” in order to guarantee a high standard of quality in their doctoral studies.
