A central aim of the CRC/TR 240 “Platelets” is to cross-fertilize the strength and expertise among the participating scientists. Z03 offers the platform to coordinate and standardize methodological approaches, quality control measures, documentation, data evaluation, communication of results, and biobanking with a special focus on human studies. This will make the findings of individual projects available for other groups to enable translation from in vitro to in vivo, and between experimental animal models and human patient studies.
